DENISE MARSA'S THE COWGIRL & THE ALIEN MUSIC VIDEO SERIES REVISITED

A Three-Part Visual Journey of Courage, Connection, and Transformation

New York, NY – June 12, 2026 – Acclaimed singer-songwriter Denise Marsa revisits The Cowgirl & The Alien, her imaginative three-part music video series featuring her songs "FLOAT," "FLOAT Remix," and "Kiss Me In The Rain (Until Dawn Remix)." Originally conceived in 2020 during the global pandemic, the project brought together creative collaborators from around the world and evolved into a powerful exploration of identity, resilience, belonging, and love. The third music video in the series launched Marsa’s ongoing run on the UK Music Week Top 10 Dance Chart, which started in the spring of 2024, and where she has now earned eight Top 10 placements.

‍At the heart of the series is the unlikely connection between two frontier spirits: the cowgirl and the alien. Though seemingly opposites—one grounded in tradition, the other untethered and otherworldly—both are explorers who thrive beyond convention and require courage to chart their own paths.

That duality reflects Marsa's own artistic journey. Rooted in rock, blues, and storytelling while continuously pushing creative boundaries, she has built a career that bridges the familiar and the unexpected. The series celebrates female strength, vulnerability, acceptance, and transformation through a visual narrative that unfolds across all three videos.

The music was produced by Denise Marsa and Janosch Roth of Lautstumm Studios in Germany. Its blues-infused vocals, driving guitars, and vivid storytelling are balanced by atmospheric textures, synthesizers, and dreamlike sonic landscapes. The result is a song that feels simultaneously familiar and otherworldly.

The videos were conceived and co-directed by Marsa with acclaimed Polish filmmaker Karolina Tyszkowska, at the helm making the characters come to life on the screen.  The animated video series is set against a lunar-like frontier, the story follows a solitary cowgirl whose encounter with an alien sparks a transformative adventure. Traveling together aboard a flying skateboard UFO, the pair journey through a world where love challenges convention and courage become its own form of rebellion.

Together, the three videos form a cohesive artistic statement about embracing differences, overcoming obstacles, and finding connection in unexpected places—a testament to Marsa's belief that authenticity, imagination, and fearlessness can bridge any distance.
